Program Director

Josiah Spinelli – Josiah is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and is in his second season as Bil-O-Wood’s Program Director. He lives in Nashville and this will be his 10th year at camp and he previously was a counselor and the Canoe Tripping Director. Josiah is a multi-talented guy who loves children and has an energy level that most people only dream about. “Mister Energy” keeps the campers excited and happy.

Outdoor Living and Canoe Tripping Director

Mike Kelly – Mike is from Long Island, NY and also begins his tenth season at Bil-O-Wood this year. He has previously served as a counselor and as the Program Director. He is currently studying in outdoor education in Arizona, Mike is a professional outdoorsman. His outdoor and canoeing skills and positive demeanour make him a great person to lead our outdoor living and wilderness adventure program.

Varied Program Director

Kara Mason – Kara is a graduate of Ferris State University and has been at Bil-O-Wood as a staff person for 5 years and as a mother for 9 years. Her children Alex and McKenna are current campers and daughter Kaitlin is a camp counselor. She directs Bil-O-Wood’s Varied Program and offers campers young and old a wide variety of skills. As director of our craft center she shares her artistic talents with many campers.

Super Kids Program Director

Alisa Wilcox – Alisa lives in Florida and is currently in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Florida. This will be her 14th season at camp. Her family has been a part of Bil-O-Wood since the early 70’s. Alisa’s love of nature and skills in guiding young people make her one of the camper’s favorites. She leads the Super-Kids program (10+ under) and is always full of enthusiasm
