Specific Responsibilities of a Counselor
- Be aware of the health and well being of each camper in the group.
- Provide opportunities for the group so that each camper experiences success during camp.
- Help each child meet the goals established by themselves and their parents.
- Represent self with strong moral character and values in camp and throughout the year.
- Supervise all assigned aspects of the campers' day including morning reveille, cabin clean-up, meal times, rest hour, evening activities, getting ready for bed, and after-hours duty as assigned.
- Teach or assist in teaching or leading an activity, as assigned.
- Lead or assist as a wilderness adventure leader.
- To fulfill other staff administrative roles if applicable.
